The cross covers human trafficking

In His Presence

The Story:
The other day, I was talking with a sister who is researching human trafficking. Automatically, the issue of justice comes up, because we can’t discuss trafficking without talking about justice. We can’t talk about justice without talking about the Just Judge. We can’t talk about the Just Judge without talking about Jesus, because They are One in the same.
My sister said something profound that I’ve been thinking about for days. She said, “I don’t know how I can present this topic of trafficking without presenting the Gospel”. The Gospel. The Good News. I don’t know how I can present this global injustice without sharing the Good News. Correct. She’s right on. Why?

1. the Gospel is for the beat up, the broken down, the messed up, the forgotten, the orphaned, the mistreated, the lost. The Gospel is for those who are just one hot mess.

About morgangascho

I grew up in Iowa, USA (famous for growing corn). I'm contemplative, I love writing, and blogging has become a hobby. Writing worship music is a way to engage in sweet conversation with the Divine Creator of the Universe, Jesus. He is my life. I am hidden in Him and I pray that someday I will know what that means. Until then, I'm seeking His glory, waiting for the day when it will all be revealed to me.
